| Volume of boat listings is up - thats good. Ability to sort through that volume is the same - thats bad. Pro haulers that run nationwide aren't as concerned with the location and destination of boats as they are with the 1) Type (sailboat, powerboat, canoe) and 2) length of the boat. Simply being able to pull up all boats 24'-34' separate from runabouts (14' - 24') would make a HUGE difference. Listing searches by states worked when volume was low. Now its become cumbersome, looking past the same listings for days and days, trying to find the ones that are NEW and match your criteria for hauling, with location as a secondary concern... | While we are at it..... How about making the width (beam) more closely aligned with wide load permits? Have a subcatagory for those 8.5' wide or less (no permits), one for >8.5 to <12, and one over 12' wide. Also, how about putting a little window beside the area where the dimensions are entered? This could include information which explains that exact dimensions are important and most states require permits if over 8.5 feet wide and escorts if significantly wider. Also, note that any height above 13.5' (on the trailer) requires permits and/or escorts. For example, in many states 11' 11" does not require an escort but add another inch or two and the whole situation changes. Some people just put 12' without realizing possible ramifications. Better yet, have them put the year, make, and model and we can do our own research much of the time. Lastly, the "On trailer" section needs to be changed. Many people think this means that they want it moved on a trailer, not that it is already on a trailer. How about just changing the wording to say "Boat has its own trailer"?

| Great ideas on the beam. Another 'Top Level' catagory, change, that will save about 1,000,000 uneccessary questions per year: " Trailered Power boats " " Non-trailered Power boats " This, if NOTHING else immediately, would help immensely... Comments from UShip development team???

| Thanks for all these great suggestions. Your comments are especially timely - we know the next few months are the highest volume for boat transportation providers and are diligently working to make several enhancements to improve our boat listing process and search tools related to boats. We also hope to have a lot more boat listings for you to bid on this year, through some deveopeing partnerships and marketing channels. Please feel free to continue to give us boat related changes/enhancements you'd like to see - I can assure you we are taking your feedback in this area very seriously.
