First question: Why on earth do some shippers do business with a TSP that has a long history of negative feedback and match retractions??? Even if the TSP has given a $1000 underbid, so what?, "I'll take my chances"?? And then the shipper just ends up leaving more negative feedback themselves to add to the long list. Do they not check out profiles and read feedback? Or maybe they're used to winning in Vegas? Second question: Isn't there some uShip rule that would keep TSP's like this from being able to use the "book it now" feature? Yes, they may have their 10+ positive feedback, but one guy I saw, that fortunately uShip finally booted, had 76% feedback. Maybe in school that was a passing grade, but when it comes to customer service that is just unacceptable, way below an F. It also seems very unfair for the shipper to have to deal with someone like this, and then when the deal goes south, its just one more job that an other TSP could have done and didn't have the opportunity. Your thoughts? -SharraiTransport Sorry if this ends up being a repeat post, but I didn't see another thread on this subject.

| think about it its a flaw in uships system... i theres a member that runs the west coast that there using the system to suck people in with super low bids then soon as they get there contact info they cancel the bid. they have there contact info now so cansel the bid and they dont have to pay uship fees. and if the shipper gets hidden shipping fees the transporter dont care becasue they cant report it.

Do they not check out profiles and read feedback? Unfortunately not many do. Sad as it may seem, all that most are worried about is the bottom dollar they have to spend to get their treasured item shipped. Remember they were enticed to this site under the pretense of saving up to 80% on the cost of shipping.

| I am sure that until uship stops giving suggested shipping costs and assigns a symbol for carriers, brokers and drive aways this site will only attract the bottom fishers. We are very aggressive about informing the shippers of the pitfalls of TSPs that have low ratings and very high percentage of cancellations. Some of you may have read my remakes to shippers that carry on a dialog with a low baller that does his bidding in the question section so that his rating stays hidden until he has suckered the shipper in, then throws a last minute bid and books only to cancel and call the shipper directly like you said. U-ship does not police its site. They use the SQUEALER system. Which pits one TSP against the other. Kind of a slick tactic used in Prison camps during world war two. kind a goes along with not allowing us to mention u-ships fee when justifying our bid. These people are just in it for the one shot fee. they have no customer service hot line and they are really part of some other company in Texas
