I AM A BROKER  AND THESE ARE THE QUESTION I WOULD ASK BEFORE ACCEPTING A LOAD AND HAULING IT

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PAID??  TRY TO GET COD IF POSSIBLE.

HAVE THEM FAX A COPY OF THERE MOTOR CARRIER AUTHORITY ALONG WITH THERE SURETY BOND INFORMATION THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO MAKE A CLAIM AGAIST IT IF THEY FAIL TO PAY YOU.

CREDIT REFFERENCES   CARRRIER THAT THEY HAVE PAID.

HOW THEY WORK WAITING TIME  LAYOVER IF IT HAPPENS .  I HAVE SET RATES THAT STATE IN THE EVENT THIS HAPPENS THESE ARE THE RATES YOU WILL BE PAID AT.

NEVER START GOING TO PICK UP A SHIPMENT WITH OUT AN RATE CONFIRMATION.  SOME TIMES THING CANCEL AND YOU WILL BE DRIVING FOR NO REASON.

YOU CAN ALSO DO A CREDIT REPORT ON THE BROKER.

USE COMMON SENSE AND GO WITH YOUR GET FEELING

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS GET YOUR PAPERWORK TO THEM FAST

CALL THEM MAKE SURE THEY RECIEVED IT

CALL THEM WHEN YOU THINK THE CHECK SHOULD BE GOING IN THE MAIL

CALL THEM THE DAY AFTER THEY SHOULD HAVE SENT IT  MAKE SURE EVERYTHING APPEARS GOOD

CALL IF YOU DO NOT RECIEVE IT CALL THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN

YOU WILL GET PAID

Check the Brokers Info that he gives you against Safersys.gov. also. I worked for a supposedly nation wide Broker, that claimed to have hazmat and everything else to find out that the numbers were all inactive and no Insurance or Suriety Bond in Place, As far as I know pallets-in-motion is still out there.
