I thought it would only be a 100 bucks because if it is a hundred pounds that is what it would normally be but because it was 180 it was going to be 500+.<br>I decided to do a search for a cheaper shipping company, looking all over the net. Then I remembered this site because I was going to get my motorcycle shipped on here but it got stolen before I got around to it. Anyway, I searched everywhere and the cheapest price was 340 not on this site. I ended up getting it shipped on this site for 180 in all and it was faster, and the driver kept me up to date. All over priced bids for a 7 mile move (over 300 to 500 dollars).Even thou I had a price range listed. The service provider that gave me a low bid happened to live nearby and did it in a few hours. He was very conscientious in his communication and let me know when he had picked up the item at its point of origin. He kept in touch during the entire move and had to deliver the phonograph in a torrential rain. He was careful with the item the whole time and worked with my husband to get it safely and (in a dry state) into the house. My U-Ship experience was definitely a positive one, and I would use this service again.
