I am a little perplexed by the affiliate program. On the page it says to use this page? What page? I don't actually see any banners or links to copy? Am I looking in the wrong place? Is it possible to just send an email to someone from within Uship to a prospective shipper? I have several people right now who are interested, but I cannot figure out how to do this.

When will this problem be fixed?

Wow, I am shocked that Uship would let a bug this big go unfixed this long. This is very disheartening news. I thought I was going to roll into some big bucks soon. I might as well just cancel my membership.

To answer your questions:

1) There is a cookie placed on the visitors computer when they click through your affiliate link. If the visitor signs up with uShip, you will receive credit even if the cookie is deleted afterwards.

2) There is no time limit from sign-up to the point of activity. You will receive commission at any point your visitor decides to use uShip.

3) Commission is only made off of the visitors first transaction. Repeat listings do not count towards earnings.

We are in the works of overhauling our affiliate section with updated banners and widgets. If anybody has any questions in the meantime, feel free to contact me at craig@uship.com.

Has anyone had any success with the program? I can say that I've placed a banner on my home page and have resulted in 70 sign up's within about 2 1/2 months. However, I've yet to see any activity within these new users.

I do have a couple questions about the program that I feel are not explained thoroughly on the Affiliates page.

1) Is there a cookie that is placed on the visitors computer? If so and the visitor signs up then deletes the cookie, will I still get a commission?

2) Is there a time limit from the time of sign up and the point of activity for me to make a commission? What I mean is if someone clicks through and signs up, then waits 180 days to do anything, will I still get the money?

3) Do I get commission on every successful transaction that a converted user from my site makes? Or only on the first sale? Or only within so-many-days and if the cookie is still present?

Thanks for any info and if anyone has had success, I'd love to hear about it.
