If you go to Find Shipments (http://www.uShip.com/find) and click on the gray International tab up top, you can select just shipments in the United Kingdom.

How can someone check out whether the person whom is agreeing to do the shipping is legit???
I am a little nervous about a possible shipment that may take place in July. How can one do a background check on such person or company??

You can do this from your uShip account, click on "My uShip" > "My Account". From here you will see a link to 'Update Payment Method'. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

IMPROVEMENT - There really should be two categories for this and not one.

Show Shipments Starting From these Cities
Show Shipments Ending in these Cities

Many times transporters only go to certain cities. Having a "sort" this way would save time.

I am having issues with the "Multi-State" searches; for the "Select Origin States", I move my cursor over a state & the state turns black as if I have selected it. Regardless if I wanted to select it or not. For the "Destination States", the same thing happens & the list at the bottom of the page never changes! FRUSTRATING!

I surely have no interest in committing a 53' trailer to hauling 2 pallets, as I will then most asuredly receie a call for a full load, paying 10 times as much, that I will be unable to cover.

Just charge for two pallets the same as a full load. That will filter them out

I've designated the filter for full loads only, yet i'm seeing about 85% loads that are considerably less than a full load (as in 2 pallets or 500lbs). I don't believe they'll do that (collect a 50% deposit for you), but you might try emailing support@uship.com and ask. You may also want to research if what you're doing is legal, since you apparently do not have interstate authority and some of the shipments you've taken would definitely put you in the CMV category even with a 1/2 ton pick up. I don't know the requirements for hauling live animals, but I think there are some horse haulers on here that are quite knowledgeable about that aspect of the transportation business. I'm sure they can advise you there.

Good luck and let us know if you have any luck getting uShip to collect the deposit for you. I'd bet there are a lot of others that would be interested in doing the same thing.

May need to consider buying your shine from a different distiller...............or laying off the Viagara. The TV commercials do point out the potential for it to affect your vision...... OMG! I just thought of another possible cause why he can't see the maps but I sure can't post it here. I had not thought about that one since I was a little boy.

Ok, so I have been using the new format with no problems until today. My saved search of LOCAL for zip 04605 within 500 miles now returns no results. I tried other zip codes from Maine to NY with the same result.

Generally if you experience problems with the find shipments console it is a browser issue. Make sure you are running the newest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox.

I'm trying to get shipment quote. I checked states or origin and states of ending. I checked vehicles and trailers etc and its not doing anything. On the bottom of page it states page error. What error. How do i get this to work. it worked yesterday.

Have not been able to get the state to state funciton to work for more than 6 months now. have stopped using u-ship this winter altogeather because the software upgrade degraded me to where the only searches I could do just became look at everything searches. Way too time consuming.

If you are trying to select states for your search, you should click on Find Shipments and then click on the multi-state search. Let me know of that is not what you're looking for.

I cannot seem to find what I want with the new page. I want to click on the u.s. states to select a route, I have tried to enter zip codes, to select along a route and it just refreshes the screen. granted I am not very good with involved websites, but this one is horrible. also it is not fair to say you have more action with the revamps, because you are gaining popularity, it will gain hits and bidding actions even if you have a puppie on the hangmans gallows...I book 2 trucks to different parts of the u.s., can you help me?

If I use the multi-state tool from Oregon to New Mexico, my tractor shipment shows up. If I use the along a route tool from my zip 97701 to destination 87506, the tractor does not show up. Is this a bug?

Using "Along a route" with 30344 Origin and 53545 as destination, yet it picked up a Tampa and reporting only 66 miles added?

It would also be helpful to be able to sort by origin or destination. That way it put everything coming from or going to a specific city together.

It would be really nice to have a feature that would allow not only looking for the core (1st load) but also bring up the destination area so a backhaul could be found and bid on at the same time. Or at least added to a saved watch list so a bid could be submitted when the first one is accepted.

Just a thought, what do the rest of you think?

When you click on the find shipments console, you can choose "Along a Route". Click on that, and enter the zip codes that you're leaving from and going to, and it allows you to chose how far off your route you're willing to go, i.e. 15, 25, 50 miles.

There might be a way I havn't found yet but, if you could find shipments along a route from point a-b-c would be helpful. Say you have a shipment from MI to TN and a TN to CA, it would be great if you could find everything along that route.

It's because most truckers take HWY 40 Thru the US coming to frisco,so Los Angeles is coming up 100 miles away because by the time you veer off to hwy 56 I believe it would be in that range.
