Should I be wary of these? Is there a reason why a Shipping company wouldn't just simply place a bid as opposed to sending an offer through the Messages system? Those that have appear to have good feedback. If I decide that I want to deal with one of them, should I request that they place a bid first and that I will then accept it through uShip? It was struck down my the powers that be as it is considered to be inappropriate. I was still learning how the service works and after I thought about it I realized that using the web-site name would give me an advantage as shippers could easily contact me by Googling the name and therefore it is considered as an unfair procedure, and I appreciate U-Ship trying to keep the playing field level in that way.
What I think is inconsistent, is the fact that Shipping providers are allowed to use thier company names in their shipping provider names. I constantly see questions and answers that reflect the fact that the shipping providers are antcipating being contacted outside of U-Ship by the shippers. I see this as they talk about things regarding making bids and other aspects of working out various details that don't seem to show up in the questions and answers. Their comments only make sense if they are having some other contact with each other.
I believe this goes on because a shipper can simply Google the company name that has been used as the name for a shipping provider and establish contact outside of U-Ship in that way.
I cannot understand why U-ship goes to the trouble to keep me from using a name I have on a web-site, but does not eliminate "company names" from the tag names for shipping providers.
What is the difference between the two?

Need movers15 to rebid

Need movers15 to rebid

whats up with shipers waiting for last min to take our bid

just wonduring why shipers wait until last min to acept bids i whould like to know if im going to do a job at lest a few day before not 1 day before pick up

How do I add to an answer?

I'd like to add more to an answer I gave earlier & I keep getting "You've already answered that question." and there's no way to get past this I've found.

Auction flat fee added to shipping cost?

What the heck is uship adding a 28.00 flat fee auction charge to shipping?
