I'd be grateful for any advice you may have!<br><br>Problem: I need to ship 8-9 average-size boxes [ca 60" square] of household goods from Bend, Oregon to Paris, France, this fall. I should be in Oregon for about 4 weeks, total, but I could poossibly extend the stay by a week, or so.<br><br>I'm a little concerned this may be cutting it short, as I'll need to pack and assess the actual number of boxes before posting a listing, here, then crossing my fingers that there will be bids. I should add that I can't afford failure; the boxes <u>must</u> be sent on their way during my stay in the US.<br><br>My questions: is that an unrealistic time-frame?; also, are there experienced overseas shippers, out there, who could tell me what I need to know about door-to-door shipping service, as well as customs issues [will I need to receive the boxes at the French port, for ex, before they can continue on to Paris?]<br><br>Thanks in advance!Thu, 24 Jul 2008 07:39:11 GMTdlivingston
