change user name

I have been sending emails to customer service asking about changing the user name I was assigned, but have not had amy replies.

Please let me know what to do ?

I can not log into m.uship from my cell phone. I have tried changing my password to a simple one with no caps. Service is AT&T and phone is a Motorola Tundra. I have no problems logging into other accounts such as ebay, my bank, etc.

My listing shows as being in the UK, even though is US.

I posted a listing with the pickup location being Ferndale, MI 48220 and the delivery location being Waldron, AR 72958 and for some reason it's showing both locations as being UK. Best I can remember I selected US as the country. I've tried to go back and change it, but I can't.

I don't want to relist it because I've already got a few bids that I'm considering. Can I get the country changed from UK to US?

Cannot Ask a Question of a Service Provider who has placed a Bid on my Shipment.

I posted a shipment for a Vectra 1450 Home Gym today, on 9/18/09. I have received a Bid from a Service Provider and CANNOT ASK A QUESTON of that Service Provider no matter where I go. Your instructions state in several places that 'you can ask as many questions as you want about a Bid by going to the Ask Question link on the Bid Details page' and also in the Listing Page BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. This is very frustrtating and is blowing the whole deal.
This set-up is NOT user-friendly and is much too restrictive. There is no Customer Support. Emails do not get answered until the issue is no longer relevant.
The site just does not work as stated.
If there is a way to ASK a Question, Where is it? Why does it not work when I go to the Bid Details and Choose Ask Question? Or when I to the View Listing and Choose Ask Question?

I accepted a bid but got no email from USHIP giving me my shipper's contact info etc.!!!

Dates changing from bid to bid details

I've placed a few bids today, and I went back to check on some of my bids, and there were mistakes. Here's an example:

I specified in my bid that I would pick up the shipment between 8/11 and 8/16, and would deliver before 8/31. However, the bid details (once the bid had been placed) were as follows:

Timeframe:
Service Provider will pick up shipment before 8/11/2009.
Service Provider will deliver shipment before 8/31/2009.

This is a really bad bug that needs to be attended to soon...I cannot fulfill the bid details as stated, because they're different than what I specified. This happened in all of the bids I placed today.

And to answer your first question - I'm positive that I didn't accidentally input "before 8/11". Thanks for your prompt attention.

There are others that this error occurred on, but this was the first I noticed.

I listed a shipment on 6/19/2009 with a "Book it Now" feature. I specified pickup 6/19/2009 to 6/26/2009, and delivery 6/20/2009 to 6/29/2009. Yet the winning bid, which was locked in as a "Buy it Now," says pick up within 7 days, delivery within 5 days of pick up. That's up to 12 days, or 7/1/2009. Why the difference? I entered the date I wanted the load delivered, yet the Buy it Now feature allowed a booking that could mean the load is delivered up to 3 days later than specified. It seems like there must be a glitch somewhere.....

For the life of me I cannot get the uship links to work in my auctions. I copied and pasted the HTML into my listings - the box shows up and the uship logo and blurb - but the links don't work for estimates or even to get to the site.

Help! My ebay ID is shabbytown. Is it just me? Are they working?

My average price for this kind of shipment skyrocketed for no reason!

When a provider can't provide

So, UShip, here's my question. I started looking more than 6 weeks out for a provider to pick up, I accepted a bid, and things went from bad to worse when the provider, within a week of our pick up time, said he couldn't make it because of a previous engagement, and then told us he had an "idea" that we could go and purchase a 24' cargo trailer and load it and then stage it somewhere where he could pick it up (in a month or so) and it would only cost $1K more to ship that. What's the deal with this? We couldn't find anyone else because this guy waited so long, so now we've traveled 1800 of our 2900+ mile trip with a UHaul -- the LEAST preferred option. My husband is trying to think forgiving thoughts, but he can't. Besides dinging this guy for being unable to complete a transaction, does anything else happen? Thanks.

Problems using mobile uship.

OK, so I have the newer Blackberry 8330 from Sprint with unlimited everything. So m.uship.com does not work but uship.com loads properly. The only real problem is Uship.com/find. The listings do not automatically show up. I have to scroll down to the freight type ( cars, household, animals and such) and click the + to expand the listings then click select all. I repeat this process and it will finally allow me to review all the listings. But when I click on a lisitng and return to the previous page to continue looking at listings I have to do that whole process over again or it just doesn't load the page completely. Any ideas as to what I can do to make the entire process easier?

Why an accepted bid moved to archive?

Damaged merchandise

Received shipment delivered via truck. Damage found on my vehicle which clearly was not present before loaded on truck. To observe the forum guidelines, will not mention name of the shipper. Need input on how to file insurance claim against the reluctant company who is trying to pass this off onto the mystery subcontracted trucker, about whom I was provided no info.

Accepted Bid disappeared after payment

some one bid for my shipment, and I accepted the bid and paid the initial amount by my credit card. I was trying to contact the shipper both by email (next time may post his email address here) and phone numbers provided, but no response from the bidder.

Now when i checked my account, there is no active/accepted shipment in my inbox, and I already paid the money. what can be done?

It's been a while since I logged in to uShip. The first thing I noticed was the screwed up home page. There is no formatting/layout, just a long list on the left side of the page. What happened? Or does it have to do with my computer settings? Any advice is appreciated.

I was sent a request for bid for a Mini Cooper. I replied to the shipper through Q&A. I tried to delete or decline the request on my "My uShip" page. It goes away but immediate returns as a request. Also, I'm bugged about this "Profile is 95% Complete". Doesn't matter what I do to update profile, it's still 95%. Heather, any suggestions? Please send an email if need to.

I came here trying to ship something and it has become a complete headache. I never opted into the countless PHONECALLS i would get from uship about "Bids" i like how that feature has to be turned off, real smooth. Then the countless emails junking up my email.... 6 voicemails yesterday, phone ringing off the hook during important meetings, and i didnt even turn on the call me feature.

Can't change status of ebay auction to "won"

Hello,

I have clicked on the button to change the status and it keeps taking me to uShip's login page. I am logged in....not sure what the problem is. When I go back to the active shipment page (on my uShip)it still says I need to change the status of the auction.
Anyone out there who can fix this?
How long are you given to change the status before the active shipment is deleted by uship?

Stars average not accurate

I have been trying for nearly 67 weeks to get this resolved. My star average says 4.9of 5 but when you look I have received all 5's and when you click on stars it show 100 % 5 with the exception of 1.,however the average is 4.9. could someone please fix this. Thanks jimmy speed1313
