Im trying to see the thinking on some bids I see, just looked at one with a target price of $3000.00 , the two bids were around $2500.00 and $1925.00 ......the man is willing to pay $3000.00 why start out lower than he is willing to pay , if anything go higher ..... you can always come down a little to be competitive......... maybe some one can explain that to me.

Ha Ha Ha !!! I was about to post the very same question until I saw that I had been beaten to the punch ! Just exactly, WHAT are these people thinking. It occurs to me (perhaps) that they may be thinking: "I'll start out below the target and 'scare' away the competition!" When in fact, they may "scare" with excellent feedback in the first place. But I CANNOT agree more: If someone says to me, "You're a great guy - here are eight one-hundred-dollar bills!" What am I going to say in response? "No thanks, I only need seven of them!!" NOT !!! but..... that's just me.

Doesn't really matter, so I bid 2500.00 when the shippers target price was 3000.00. You guys know as well as I do some dips going to come back and bid it for well under 1.00 dollar a mile. So you guys are right you should mind your own bussiness, sorry if my bid insulted you, I put it where I make money not looking to get rich just make a honest living. Now I will check back in a hour or two to see if that puts a burr under your seat.

i've seen worse guys, several times i've seen the "Book it Now" feature ignored, and people bid 2-300 LESS than if they'd have just clicked a link and took the load......none of it makes any sense to me.....as far as bein flagged for sayin something, i've been threatened by uship to have my account suspended (see Ask Mickey, post "I'm a little confused, I think", when i asked mickey why i got that e-mail, i got no answer......i think theres a certain degree of favoritism in this site, and typically its in favor of the cut-throats and illegals, just my opinnion.

| I just got one of those also Red Flag I emailed Mickey so he could hook me up with the violation so I can see what I did but no answer as of yet. There are a couple of drivers that always try to slip in there web site or email. WHERES MICKEY ?

just saw this, Target $ 2500.00----- Bid $ 1900.00 because people are idiots....wait til you see a book it now, which means you can click the link and thats what it pays, no bidding required, and some moron bids 1/2 of the book it now price.....it never ends

i was just advised via e-mail by mickey that calling out illegals is actually against uShips uner agreement, hence the reason for my red flag......interesting huh?
