| Starting today, Service Provider profiles are taking on an exciting new look. Now, in addition to the positive, neutral, and negative ratings you are used to seeing, service providers will have the opportunity to differentiate themselves by their customer service and quality of work with the newly launched Detailed Service Provider Ratings. Here are some of the important details: - You will be rated in four categories: Communication; Care of Goods; Punctuality/Timeliness; and Service as Described - please see below for a detailed description of each category.
- Ratings in each category will be based on a 5-star rating system that each shipper will be asked to submit when leaving feedback.
- Detailed Service Provider Ratings will not appear in your profile until you have a minimum of 10 ratings submitted by shippers.
- Ratings are based on the average of your ratings over the past twelve months.
- In addition to the individual category ratings, each profile will have an overall star rating which will be an aggregate average of all your ratings over the past twleve months.
This is an exciting improvement to the way you build your reputation and market your business on uShip. Now you will be able to show off your strengths as a provider in more detail, and you will know exactly which areas your shippers think you need to improve upon. Detailed Service Provider Ratings categories: - Communication
Did you keep in touch? Was the shipper able to reach you as needed? - Care of Goods
Did the shipment arrive in good condition? Were all necessary precautions taken? - Punctuality/Timeliness
Did the shipment arrive on time? Was there a problem with scheduling? - Services as Described
Were services accurately described in the bid? Was everything performed as promised?
Please use this forum to let us know what you think about this change, and to post any questions.

Like the idea but is it practical since getting shippers to leave feedback at all is an accomplishment in itself?

| USELESS!!!! I thought that is what feedback was for. If you want to improve something lose that bid estimator.

| Bad idea for a number of reasons. It is far to subjective therefore there will be no standardization adding further confusion to the shipper. Shippers will have to make more effort to leave feedback further discouraging them from leaving feedback at all. Complicates interpretation of the feedback.....shippers are accustomed to seeing ebay style feedback. That is what they're familiar with and that is much easier for them to quickly comprehend. For example, I have perfect feedback and a score of 100%. However when the shipper reviews my feedback it would indicate I have no responses for those specific categories......That leaves a negative connotation. I prefer the simpler procedure as it was before. Kudos for trying to make enhancements......but unfortunately this is not one. ... ....as Jack (Indian) would say... ..my two cents

Stryker68 (3/20/2008) Actually ebay has the same type of detailed feedback with star ratings.I just looked at ebay and you're absolutely right....I stand corrected. I guess that shows how long it has been since I've used ebay.........

| One thing I'd like to clarify - the customers are asked to leave the detailed ratings *after* they've already left the regular feedback - so this will in no way affect the number of people who leave feedback. Anyways, we appreciate the feedback and keep it coming! Thanks, Nick

| Quit making it so darn hard for the TSPs to get good paying loads off here. The more we make the more you make.....right???!!! Do I need to disguise myself as a shipper for you to finally listen to us TSPs?? This new tool.........garbage!!

| Is this starting from now as I have a outstanding feedback score and when folks see the details if it were me I would be confused. So, I hope that you are sending an idea to the shippers as well. When I hit details on my profile the way I read it is that I have less than 10 in all matters and I know that this is not true as you can read my feedback and see. Why keep messing with things. You get it going good and then you got to go change up again.

| Unless you are able to go back in history and reflect the Tsp's history this is not giving the potential customer the right impression. I do not see any advantage for this option. The feedback already says what they need to say. If communication sucks they will say so. I really don't like the star option. It seems to only favor your favorite provider UTI anyway.
