| I posted a couple a week or so ago and my post has vanished (unless i searched incorrectly) so I need to repost the history. First time shipper, and the experience has been terrible. A provider accepted my bid and we exchanged one initial email than that was the last he responded to any of my communication. During our initial email, he stated that he would pick up on 4/19. Of course he didnt show up, never emailed, called, nada. So I cancelled the bid immediately via uship and requested my deposit back that was paid via uship. Even if this guy decided to show up I didint want him trasporting my vehicle anyway. So after I put in the cancellation, I get an email from uship saying they received my request and are reviewing it. (ironically thats when my inital post on the forums went away i think). I have replied to the email and now uship will not email me back with any status or update on my deposit refund that I have requested several times. I have waited the 72 hours and still no contact from ANYONE. I just want my money back so I can proceed with getting my vehicle shipped after wasting a lot of time. Is there a number I can call for customer service? This expereince has been very frustrating.

| Beware..do not end up like me!!! My motorcycle was picked up nearly 6 weeks ago, the guy has promised delivery on several occasions, will not return my calls, I've already had to go to the cops!!!!

Hopefully you've read the entire User's Agreement, but if not, part of the cancellation policy is pasted below. Expect nothing to change for a minimum of 72 hours.............and I wouldn't bet just how accurately uShip's clock is maintained. Good luck... Don....... 8. Match Cancellations and Refunds. . A “Cancellation” occurs when either party has to cancel AFTER a bid was accepted on uShip but BEFORE any services are performed. After a bid is accepted and the two parties communicate directly, occasionally one or both of the parties determine that they cannot complete the transaction. Cancellations should only be requested after reasonable attempts have been made to reach an agreeable solution and it is certain that the services that were booked on uShip will not be performed. When you request a cancellation, the other party will be notified and will have 72 hours to respond by either:
a) accepting the cancellation and your reason; b) accepting the cancellation but providing their own reason and/or comments; or c) rejecting the cancellation and requesting review by uShip staff.
If your Request for Cancellation is accepted by the other party, the match will be retracted and the shipment can either be relisted or deleted. If your Request is rejected by the other member, then the Request will be sent to uShip and a determination will be made on allowing or not allowing the Cancellation. If the other party does not respond within the 72 hour period, the cancellation and reason will be automatically accepted (Case a). Once a cancellation is accepted, any refunds associated with the shipper deposit will be refunded to the shipper.

| If you have chance to go with someone else, do yourself a favor and do so and let the cancellation take its course. Uship IS a LITTLE slow but it will eventually get done. If uship customer service is your only problem consider yourself lucky and be patient. GLPIRTLE is still looking for his bike. At least you guys still have the chance to find someone else and not trace your stuff.
