| The old style tower converter used to do the same to me but this one here has a rubber bearing in the collar you see where the two chrome pins are that eliminated that. I do have to agree with you that the big bolt in plate works better. I just won't fool with 5th whls or GNs anymore. I need the bed space.

I have a removable goose ball that slides into a square hole with a quick pin to hold it in place and I am thinking of getting a 5th wheel plate that will slide into that same hole so I don't have to mount anything to the bed... Anyone know of one?

| That removable hitch is made by B & W turnover hitches... They make a fifth wheel plate that COMPLETELY comes out of the bed with the pull of one lever in the wheel well. THIS IS THE HITCH I HAVE. Fantastic

| I saw one just like that. I think it is the Companion Don was talking about. I hear it works real good and doesn't use anything but the GN square hole but it was way too big for me to lugg around when I also try to use the bed when not using the 5th whl. They are good.

Any idea what they cost/where to get one? or someone have one they are willing to part with cheap? And if so, anyone needing a "Backhaul" to get it to me? HAHAHAHAHAA

Thanks Don! I am really in no hurry for one, just figured it would give me a little bit of diversity and might come in handy some day. Things are changing daily around here and I really have no clue which way things are gonna go!

You guys are the best to give him guidance so I'll bow out unless he asks me something specifically. I appreciate your willingness to assist these guys that are sincere and need direction. I gotta get out of here and get a couple of things done. I'm hitting the road tomorrow for somewhere.....? When I pull out if there's traffic coming from the right, I'll turn the other way.
