When I have an active shipment listed on uShip and I go to my Favorite Provider List and select a provider, and then click on request a bid button. Apparently no bed request is sent for my shipment, but instead the uShip takes me to "List a Shipment" page as though I had no active shipment listed. I don't understand why this happens.

Hello,

Thanks for your post - I'm sorry to hear you are running into problems with the 'Bid Request' feature. It sounds like that the service provider you are trying to request a bid from might not have opted to accept bid requests from shippers, which is why you might be re-directed to the "List Shipment" area. However, you should receive some sort of notice rather than a page re-direct. I have issued a request to our development team to have them review this. Please feel free to email me directly, heather@uShip.com, if you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Heather

I am having the same problem. I tried to request bids from shippers that I have used recently and it just sends me to list a shipment. Something is wrong with the request bids feature.
