Hey rcook007,

Got a question for ya. In your fine filled out profile you mention that:

 Insurance Offered:
Released Value – $0.60/lb. for no charge

Now I don't know of any insurance companies that will insure cargo for a non-compliant hauler. Who and where does this coverage from or through?.......OR........Is that just a ploy to dupe potential customers into thinking that you are covering their shipments? Most likely the latter.

Hes from California so MR TRUCK has to deal with him and in California the DOT WILL CATCH him and when they do just think of me laughing all day long.

This is a message to all the people that are using this site to ship something

USE A DOT COMPLIANT CARRIER ONLY

Its the Federal Law that anyone that transports ANYTHING for any kind of PAYMENT be a DOT COMPLIANT CARRIER. It doesnt matter if its as small as a BREADBOX or as large as a ARMY TANK the CARRIER NEEDS to be

DOT COMPLIANT

Ask for their INSURANCE COMPANY INFO before your shipment is picked up to protect yourself from loosing your item.

I am now just using this site for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSED ONLY and will not bid on or take a shipment from this site

Yesterday... 300 mile 1 way, there wasn't anything coming back so I drove home empty. About $1200 to me! Even at 50% dead-head I'm averaging $2/mi!!! And often I DO have a return!!!

Humor? People post here who have problems. I dont think it is too nice to come here and rag on them. Not to mention that it isnt helpful to Uship to have people come here for help and get ragged.

I have a 1000 pound lathe to ship, and have money to pay what it will cost a fair price to ship.

Put yourself in my place.  Do you think I would consider people who come here to laugh at others? It reflects on you folks as businessmen. Whether you want people's business or not, it is bad business to insult anyone for laughs.

Too bad the people mentioned in the first post just dont get it.

Thumbz

Sir ... Buena suerte ... Don

Just in case you missed my other post you made I will repeat it here, I see you CLAIM you had shipped something (a Lathe) but if you look @ that listing it says CANCELLED, so you either didnt ship it like you said or you talked the TSP into doing this AROUND USHIP. Something tells me the later is correct.

Any takers?

Just drop it men.

The man who was to deliver his lathe was killed in a wreck and the TSP's wife had to cancel his last 7 or 8 loads.

You can check the feed back on his cancel listing and the others.

Yes Jack, it is very sad and it is true.  He was killed about a month ago (June 18th) when he rear ended a semi while driving his box truck.  The accident was on I-84 at exit #73 near Union, CT.  He was 44 and lived in North Reading, MA.  My condolences go out to his family.  He had two sons, Andrew & David.  Everything written about him indicated he was really a nice person.  I have lot of respect and admiration for his wife too, for being conscientious and caring enough to notify his waiting customers during such a stressful time.  She deserves a lot of credit for having the strength to do that while dealing with his death.
