| If the public wants 100% medically safe truck drivers,.. are they willing to pay the price that will come with that? NO! The big trucking companies know the price and I think they will fight the wanted changes (or find exceptions for themselves somehow), can they find enough 100% medically safe wheel turners to drive for .30 cpm (learners are cheaper than that)?

| Most customers on here don't give a crap! They are too blinded by the 80% promised savings that they go ape-wild spending on new stuff they expect us to ship for 5 dollars. They spend more time and effort posting horror stories here than they do checking out their TSP. Can't say they don't deserve it. They are given ample warnings, they are provided with enough links, they are provided with enough existing horror stories here on the forums and yet they don't listen. Some of those customers that get ripped even have the nerve to attack the TSPs that chime in. Can't say they didn't deserve it. They wouldn't sign a mortgage or a car deal without reading it. Why is this any different? I wouldn't necessary lay the blame with uship either. The advice is everywhere yet they still insist on trying to save 50 bucks. The customer is just as liable yet again they still try to find someone to blame. I say look in the mirror. The crooks are everywhere. They are not going to go away. Just have to cover your butt a little more. It's that simple. Yet something so simple is so hard to do when the customers are busy trying to argue with us about what their dumb budget is and what the estimator says. I say if you don't have the money to ship it the right way.....don't buy it or do it yourself. If you can't read the contract before you sign it.....don't sign it. But look in the mirror when you need to find someone to blame. Can't say you weren't warned.

All I have to say is at least there is not a Mental Competency Test required as part of our bi-annual physical!!!
If there were, there wouldn't be any drivers left!!! We have all GOT to be INSANE to keep doing this!!!

For the flaggers, it ain't on uship so I ain't going around uship. Can you see my salute? Yep! Got it! Thanks for the ref. I owe you one big time! I did talk to the guy and looked into the boat but the wheelbase is too wide for my trailer. If there was a lift at both ends I could load backwards on an extended deck to keep the weight even but there is nothing in Oroville to get her back down. He is still checking into getting the boat and said he would get back with me. I'll let you know how that goes. I am getting ol' betsy worked on right now. I made the mistake of going down 195 between WA and OR into Lewiston carrying 9500 lbs and cooked my brakes, seals and boiled my diff fluid. FUN, FUN, FUN! Sure wasn't fun coming down that 8% grade. I will get with you here real soon. This is my last uship run here so we might hook up real quick. Thanks again.
