| My mover arrived this morning to move my 1BR apartment 5 states away. They informed me the uship bid they received did not specify that they were to pack my kitchenware (normal plates, glassware, pots, pans for a 1 person 1 bedroom apartment) and that they needed to charge me another $500 to pack it. The uship system for registering a move does not have a special box to click indicating that kitchenware is to be packed, and it seemed obvious to me, but not to my mover, that the default expectation is that a normal amount of kitchenware will be packed and shipped in this sort of comprehensive move. This seems like either (a) a shake down by the mover or (2) a major gap in the uship system. Whose position is out of line here?
