Don't worry about the whole hitch, just drill a hole in the bumper and mount the ball there.

Steelhorse
Ok , thanks for the approval , I wasn't sure it would hold up , I was hoping that someone that tows with a van would of jumped in . I think if I just double up on the flat washers it should hold up ok .
It can't be any worse then the dilapidated former U-Haul 28 ft. van with a trailer ball mounted on a bent and twisted ICC Bumper towing a loaded open car trailer ( I think the trailer was going to the scrap yard by the looks of it ) . That I passed in Az. I-40 with Ca. tags , last Feb. .
I have been looking at the profiles , as I am sure that transporter is on here . Bandit2

This was to the guy who has been on the forums for 6 months ready to take the plunge. Ready to get rich off uship!!!!!! lol, you need to have a business mind and understand insurance and wear and tear and the cost of fines if your illegal like most people.

Do your research better and not from the uship forums where 99% of people have no clue of business. They barely survive and first breakdown they wont be able to fix because they ship for so cheap as it is.

And if you think this site has great rates, your kidding yourself. But as chad said, this beats working at mcdonalds.

I dont know it seems like drilling a hole in the bumper of a minivan and hooking on to a 5-7 k boat on a trailer is a good idea to me and do not worry about having proper insurance or anything those are how was it said in another post nonessential items. have fun and go for it bandit2 just dont let the boat hit ya in the backside

I would never even think of working at McD's , I don't want to go home at the end of the day smelling like a French Fry .
I did consider working at WallyWorld as a Greeter when I retired , but with My usual luck , I took French in High School not Spanish .

Hey bandit2, Me thinks them guys are just jealous of that fine mini-van idea you had. And them French lessons are gonna help you when you cross the border into Canada, eh.

You know what, your completly right. How about I just quit my day job since I have no experience in what I do, go buy a POS minivan for cheap and just haul off uship. How bout you swing by my house and I will drill that hole for you and even give you extra washers to give you extra weight capacity.

Obviously your supersmart, got a degree in business and your the next forbes 500.

Just remember me when you get rich and make it big off uship!!! OK??????

Maybe its me but I guess when you gross 1000 dollars a week your happy. Some people dont include cost of everything else.

Me personally if my trucks aint grossing a mininum a $5000 per working week, I just hire another driver. But then again, what do I know about car hauling!!!!!!!

Freaking morons these days, you know what i mean bandit???? Anywho good luck with your new venture, we are all making fun of you on hotshot forums!!! your a celebrity along with a few other service providers. We are all dreaming of how this business is done and we are thinking of the same thing.

Hey steelhorse, why you inactive and driving for somebody else??? You sound like your actually a smart guy, ponders me why your even driving for somebody else.

Tell you what though, those french lessons are great idea for bandit for when he goes into canada. When he gets to the border, he can speak in french that he left his MC at home... And that his 300 dollar load, just got impounded and now he has 3000 in fines. haha, its good to understand stuff like that!!!
