Let me just add 1 more thing bandit?? This is a driving job. Your gonna rack up miles. I put 200,000 miles on my truck in less then 2 years.

So, if you cant afford a 200 dollar hitch, what makes you think you can afford 4000 dollar breakdowns or more. Motors are 12k, trannies are 4k, injectors are 4k. Granted im talking about diesels, but diesels get good fuel mpg, and can acutally haul a load.

Now you get a 86 van with high miles, those things dont last anymore then 150k as it is. Odds are the van you buy has more then 150k and takes a dump on you your first trip. Do you spend 3000 to fix your 500 dollar van or do you go out of business????? How do you expect to pay for fuel your first trip??? How about other hauls to keep you busy??? can uship keep you busy???? How many miles do you expect to drive each week??? What is your operating costs??? Do you even know what operating cost is??

I can go on and on if you like me too. Oh and btw, this thread didnt make it all over the web, i just like browsing these threads for a good laugh and to copy and paste on hot shot forums to make you some of you celebritys with your quotes. Do you want another quote that has the all time best??? tell you what though, that van idea makes 2nd place.

Again, [content removed – contained profanity] , im trying to give you a heads up and some better advice then what your getting here only because I care.

But then again, what do I know, right??? im just another car hauler who only has 11 feedbacks or so in the past 2 years. So my truck never moves. lol. I just use uship for spot fillers. OMG, did you see my profile, my spot fillers pay pretty good. huh, I wonder what my actual loads pay like!!!!!

I deactivated my authority and went to drive for someone else because I needed health care coverage for my family. In todays world its something you got to have and while on my own I couldn't find what I wanted at an affordable cost.

I was actually hoping to use the " French Lessons " when meeting residents of the fairer sex in Canada. But with My luck , and High School being over 30 yrs. ago , I would probably end up getting kicked and My face slapped.
But if what I have seen in the truck stops of Maine are any example of the what I might find up there ( and they were not even driving logging trucks ), I might as well stay in the the good old US of A .

Uship has to make money for uship. staff ,servers. The money we make off this site is great.. more than half the trucking companies in the u.s. work off borrowed money. everything i haul is cod.. it amazes me that they are as low as they are. call a broker for a load. they take half or better of the money.. think outside the box..
