| A service provider listed looking for load from/to as a shipment. I entered pollitely as possible as a question to the shipment that he please be considerate of the site and other TSP's by not doing this as we will soon be looking through hundreds of people looking for loads to find an actual load. I was red-flagged and have been unable to get the red-flag removed.

Just a thought......most legal cariers do not have a problem with brokers,if you know how they work. You should consider applying
for your authority to haul for hire and and learning more about the business.

People should beware of brokers for several reasons:
1- You don,t know who is hauling your shipment
2- You don't know if the carrier has adaquate insurance
3- You don't know what the carriers safety rating is
4- Brokers don't insure your freight, the carrier does
Most brokers check for this stuff but not all do, many just look for cheapest price even tho the link between cheapest price and poor service and low safety rating has been established.
More than once brokers have given shippments to "carriers" who hold the load hostage for more money than originally contracted for or who just simply disappear with the load never to be seen again.
Also many shippers do not know that if their broker loads their freight on a carrier with a deficient safety rating, who is in an accident, the SHIPPER can be sued as well as the broker. I wonder how many shippers on here know enough to click on the carriers MC# to establish whether carrier has valid authoriy and insurance, how to check SAFER rating and how to check MCS-150 to see if "carrier" has any trucks or if they are a broker posing as a carrier
