| I am currently waiting the wire transfer to be completed on the purchase of a used 24 ft powerboat. The boat sits on a trailer in good shape. I am wondering what necessary paperwork I will need to have completed other than a copy of the bill of sale to have at the border. Is there anyone who could give me a rundown as to what makes for a smooth border crossing? Thanks in advance...

Depending on where you're located...
A&A Customs Brokers or PF Collins do an excellent job at handling the paperwork.
Do Not, I Repeat, Do Not hire Percy Davis. Not only do they not have a clue but the office personnel are rude and don't accept any responsibility for the errors they make.
Just my opinion, but believe me ...I've been there.
