Hi,
I was wondering if someone could enlighten me about the process of shipping providers asking questions but not submitting bids?
I had a request in to ship a vehicle and I had 5 bids....as well as two shippers who asked questions (both of whom I would have shipped with) but neither one of them submitted bids. Both gave me prices (but not bids) within my shipping limit and provided the service that I required but faded away into the netherworld.....I am perplexed!
Is there a reason for this? are they just fishing? or what? I ended up shipping with an off site shipper....a big company and being disappointed in that I wanted to use an owner operator of a small business that I could get more personalized service.
The interesting thing about all this is that both of these shippers had in their bio's that they were small and the only real difference that they could provide was caring personalized service!....duh!
Any help would be appreciated.
